Brotato is a roguelite game, meaning each run is procedurally generated and players start from the beginning when they die. However, there are some elements of progression, such as unlocking new characters and items, that are maintained between runs.
You will control a potato named Brotato and be equipped with up to six weapons at a time. The goal is to survive waves of increasingly difficult enemies by defeating them with Brotato's arsenal of weapons. There are quite a few items in the game, the use of these items is to increase strength. Furthermore, they can be collected to enhance Brotato's abilities, as well as several different characters to choose from, each with their own unique play style.
